Booster Limits: Free vs Pro
Boosters are free for everyone — the difference between tiers is how many new ones you can start each day. Here's exactly how the meter works.
The free tier: 1 Booster a day
On GapFix Free you can start 1 new Booster per day. The details:
- The meter resets at your local midnight
- Only starting a new Booster uses the slot — browsing, searching, and saving are unlimited
- Revisiting a Booster you've already completed is always free and never uses the slot
- An unused slot doesn't roll over to the next day
What's never limited
- Daily Practice — your 2-minute, 5-question review is unlimited and free for everyone, forever
- Your review queue — ideas from completed Boosters keep resurfacing in Daily Practice regardless of tier
- Saving and collections in your Library
- Streaks, XP, achievements, your gap report, and your dashboard
During the 7-day trial
Your trial starts automatically when you first set up GapFix and gives you full access for 7 days — unlimited Boosters included, no credit card, no auto-charge. When it ends, you simply continue on the free tier with the 1-a-day meter.
GapFix Pro: unlimited
GapFix Pro removes the meter entirely — do as many Boosters as you like, every day. Pro also unlocks unlimited lesson days on your 12-week plan. See the Billing section of this Help Center for prices and how upgrading works.
Two things the limit is not
It's not a paywall on your progress. Everything you've completed stays completed, your recall scores keep updating through Daily Practice, and your streak can still grow every day on the free tier.
It can't be bypassed with XP. XP is for streak protection and cosmetics only — it never buys Boosters, lessons, or any other content, on any tier.
