With hundreds of Boosters available in GapFix, finding the right ones for your needs is easy thanks to our powerful search, filtering, and recommendation system. Whether you know exactly what you're looking for or want to explore new topics, there's a way to discover relevant Boosters.
Accessing the Boosters Library
From the GapFix home screen, tap the "Boosters" tab in the main navigation menu. This takes you to the Boosters hub, where you'll see:
- A search bar at the top for quick lookups
- Filter options for refining your search
- Recommended Boosters personalized to your profile
- Popular and trending Boosters across the community
- Recently added content
Searching for Boosters
The search function is the fastest way to find specific Boosters if you know what you're looking for.
To search:
- Tap the search bar at the top of the Boosters page
- Type keywords related to your topic (e.g., "public speaking," "Excel formulas," "negotiation skills")
- See results organized by relevance
- Tap any result to view the full Booster details
Search tips:
- Use specific keywords: "financial analysis" will give better results than just "finance"
- Try variations: Searching for "presentation" might also show "public speaking" results thanks to our intelligent tagging
- Partial words work: Typing "manage" will show all management-related Boosters
- Search includes Booster titles, descriptions, and topic tags
Using Filters
Filters help you narrow down options based on several criteria. You can apply multiple filters at once to get very specific results.
Available filter options:
By Difficulty Level:
- Beginner: Perfect if you're new to a topic
- Intermediate: For those with some foundational knowledge
- Advanced: For experienced professionals wanting to deepen expertise
By Category: Choose from major topic areas including Communication, Leadership, Technical Skills, Productivity, Finance, Analytics, Project Management, and more. You can select multiple categories.
By Type:
- Tips & Tricks: Quick practical advice you can apply immediately
- Frameworks: Structured approaches and methodologies
- Templates: Ready-to-use documents and checklists
- Case Studies: Real-world examples and lessons learned
By Duration:
- 5 minutes: Ultra-quick lessons for busy days
- 7-10 minutes: Standard Booster length for more comprehensive content
By Language (if applicable to your region): English, Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, and other available languages
To use filters:
- Tap the "Filter" button (usually a funnel icon)
- Check the boxes for your desired filter criteria
- See results update in real-time as you apply filters
- Tap "Clear Filters" to reset to the full library
- Tap "Apply Filters" to save your current filter selection
Personalized Recommendations
GapFix uses AI to recommend Boosters tailored to your profile. Your recommendations are based on:
Your Skill Gaps: If your 90-day plan focuses on leadership development, you'll see Boosters related to leadership, team management, and delegation.
Your Industry: Professionals in tech see different Booster recommendations than those in finance or marketing. Content is relevant to typical challenges in your field.
Your Learning History: If you've completed Boosters on a topic, we recommend related content to deepen that knowledge area.
Your Level: Beginner professionals get recommended introductory content, while experienced users see advanced Boosters.
Trending Among Your Peers: If professionals similar to you are engaging with certain Boosters, they appear in your recommendations.
The "Recommended For You" section appears at the top of the Boosters hub, with explanations for why each Booster is suggested. You can dismiss recommendations you're not interested in, which improves future suggestions.
Browsing by Category
If you prefer to explore rather than search, you can browse all available Boosters by category. Each category includes:
- Subcategories for more specific topics
- Top Boosters in that category
- New or trending content within the category
- Difficulty breakdowns showing how many Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced options are available
Simply tap any category from the main browse view to see all related Boosters.
Discovering New Content
Trending Now: See what's popular across the GapFix community. This section updates weekly and shows Boosters gaining traction with professionals like you.
New Releases: Fresh Boosters are added to the library regularly. The "New" section highlights content added in the last 30 days.
Editor's Picks: The GapFix team hand-selects Boosters they believe deliver exceptional value. These are recommended by our learning specialists.
Using Tags and Collections
Many Boosters include multiple tags, making it easier to discover related content.
Tags are keywords associated with each Booster (like "presentation skills," "emotional intelligence," "data visualization"). Tap any tag to see all Boosters with that tag.
Collections are curated groups of Boosters organized around specific learning goals (e.g., "Preparing for Leadership," "Mastering Excel," "Communication Excellence"). Collections provide a natural learning path through related Boosters without being as rigid as your personalized plan.

Saving Boosters for Later
Found a Booster you want to do later? Use the Save feature:
- Tap the three-dot menu on any Booster card
- Select "Save for Later"
- Access saved Boosters anytime from your Saved list
Saved Boosters are organized chronologically, with your most recently saved at the top.
Cross-Device Experience
The Boosters library is available across all GapFix apps — iPhone, iPad, and Android. The search, filtering, and recommendation systems work identically on every device, so you can start exploring on one and continue on another seamlessly.
Pro Tips for Finding Your Best Boosters
Start with recommendations: GapFix's AI recommendations are highly personalized. If you're overwhelmed by choice, let our recommendations guide you.
Use Collections: If you're uncertain which individual Boosters to choose, start with a curated Collection related to a skill you want to develop.
Mix difficulty levels: Don't stick only to Beginner or only to Advanced. Mixing levels—using Beginner Boosters for variety and Advanced ones to deepen expertise—creates a well-rounded learning experience.
Check filters weekly: New content gets added constantly. Re-checking your favorite categories weekly helps you discover fresh Boosters.
Read reviews: Other users can rate and review Boosters. Check reviews to see if a Booster matched what others expected.
Troubleshooting Search and Filters
No results found: Try using fewer filters or broader search terms. Check spelling if searching for specific frameworks or methodologies.
Too many results: Apply more filters or be more specific in your search terms.
Wrong recommendations: Your recommendations improve as you engage more with the app. Completing Boosters, rating them, and using the feedback option helps GapFix understand your preferences better.
Can't find a specific Booster you saw before: Use the search bar to search by title or topic. If you still can't find it, it may have been unpublished. Contact support for help.
