Exploring Boosters
Exploring Boosters
Boosters are expert-built interactive micro-sessions that sit alongside your 12-week plan. Where daily lessons build your plan's skills step by step, Boosters let you follow your curiosity — one sharp idea, explored hands-on, in about 5–10 minutes.
What a Booster feels like
A Booster isn't a read with a quiz bolted on — about half of every session is you doing, not reading. A typical one opens with a poll ("what would you do here?" — answer, then see how the community voted), tells a short story, then puts you to work: building the key phrase from word tiles, tapping the missing words back into the line, spotting the phrase that will cause the problem, or making a judge call on a messy situation. It closes with a commit — "which of these will you actually do today?"
That closing judge call also seeds your review queue. You'll see the message "You'll see this again in 1 day — that's how it sticks": the key idea comes back in your Daily Practice sessions on expanding intervals — 1 day, then 3, then a week, then longer — tuned to how well you remember.
Finding Boosters
Boosters live in the Explore tab. Browse what's featured, or use the Search tab when you're hunting for a specific topic. New Boosters are added regularly, so Explore is worth a visit even on days you've finished your lesson.
Saving Boosters for later
Anything you want to keep lives in your Library tab:
- Collections — Boosters grouped by theme
- Saved — everything you've bookmarked
- Recents — what you've done lately
Spot something interesting in Explore but short on time? Save it and come back tonight.
Boosters on the free tier
On the free tier you can complete 1 Booster a day. The meter resets at your local midnight, and any Booster you've already completed stays revisitable for free — finishing something never locks it away. Saving costs nothing either, so spend your daily slot on the session you actually want. GapFix Pro removes the daily cap entirely.
Boosters and your streak
Completing a Booster counts as an active day for your streak, and it earns XP too. On a day when your lesson doesn't fit, one Booster (or a 2-minute Daily Practice session) keeps your streak alive.
