Your First Learning Plan

Once your gap report is ready, GapFix turns it into a personalized 12-week plan — a week-by-week route from where you are today to your target role. Every plan is built from your own resume analysis and the gaps it found, so no two plans look the same.

What's inside the plan

Your plan covers exactly 12 weeks, and each week has 7 daily focuses — 84 distinct days in total. Each day comes with tasks, curated resources, and honest time estimates, all sized to the weekly hours you chose during onboarding. Learning a few hours a week? Your days stay lean. Have more time? Your plan makes use of it.

The rhythm of a week

Each week follows a deliberate arc:

  • Days 1–2: foundational — the core ideas for the week's skill
  • Days 3–5: applied — scenarios and decisions that put those ideas to work
  • Day 6: a mixed challenge that combines everything so far
  • Day 7: the "Week N Review" — a retrieval-only session that locks the week in

This shape means you never spend a whole week just reading. You learn something, then you're asked to use it.

Your first day

Your Day-1 lesson preloads while your plan is being generated, so it opens instantly — you can start learning the moment your plan appears. A daily lesson is 2 core interactive items of about 6–7 minutes each, roughly 15 focused minutes a day, with optional stretch items if you want more.

It adapts as you go

The plan isn't frozen on day one. Lesson difficulty adapts to your quiz accuracy and speed, and at milestone weeks the plan screen offers a free reassessment that can re-tune your remaining weeks based on real evidence of what you've learned. Completed weeks are never touched.

What the trial covers

Your 7-day free trial starts automatically when you finish onboarding — full access, no credit card, and no auto-charge when it ends. After the trial you keep your plan on the free tier with 1 lesson-day per plan week; upgrading to GapFix Pro unlocks all 7 days a week.

Find your plan anytime in the Plans tab.
