Managing & Canceling Your Subscription

Updated August 8, 2026

Your GapFix Pro subscription is an App Store subscription, which means Apple — not GapFix — is the control panel. That's good news: one familiar place manages everything, and no app can make canceling hard.

Where to manage it

Everything lives in one place on your device:

iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions (then pick GapFix)

From there you can:

  • See your current cycle (Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly) and next renewal date
  • Switch cycles — for example, move from Monthly to Yearly
  • Cancel auto-renewal

Canceling

  1. Open iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions
  2. Tap GapFix
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm

That's it. Apple handles the rest — GapFix has no separate cancellation flow, no retention hoops, and no "call us to cancel."

When does Pro actually end? Canceling turns off auto-renewal; Apple keeps Pro active through the period you've already paid for, and you drop to the free tier when it lapses.

What happens after Pro ends

You move to GapFix Free — and you keep everything:

  • Your 12-week plan is preserved; you continue at the free pace of 1 lesson-day per plan week, with the sequence shifting forward so nothing is skipped or deleted
  • 1 Booster a day, with completed ones revisitable free
  • Unlimited Daily Practice, so reviews and recall scores never stop
  • Streaks, XP, achievements, your gap analysis, and your dashboard — all intact

No zombie paywall: nothing you've earned or learned gets locked away.

Resubscribing

Changed your mind? Subscribe again any time from the app, or re-enable the subscription in the same Apple Subscriptions screen. Your progress will be exactly where you left it.

If anything about your subscription looks wrong, email help@gapfix.app — we can't move money (Apple holds that), but we can help you figure out what's going on.
