Tracking Your Progress
Twelve weeks is long enough that you need proof it's working. GapFix gives you several honest lenses on your progress — each answering a different question.
GapFix Score: how ready are you?
Your GapFix Score is a live readiness score from 0 to 100, and it moves as you learn. It's distinct from the role-fit score — the percentage your initial scan produced when it compared your resume against your target role. Think of the role-fit score as the starting photograph and the GapFix Score as the live feed.
Recall scores: what's actually sticking?
Every Daily Practice answer feeds a per-skill recall score. These are the most honest numbers in the app — they measure what you can retrieve from memory, not what you've merely read. A skill with a soft recall score isn't a failure; it's a signal, and it's exactly the kind of evidence a plan reassessment uses.
Plan progress
The Plans tab shows where you stand in the 12-week arc: your current week, completed days, and today's focus — and your dashboard names the plan week you're on, so you always know where you are. Each week closes with the Day-7 "Week N Review," which doubles as a checkpoint — how much of the week can you actually pull back out of memory?
The weekly quiz
Each plan week also offers a short weekly quiz, right from the plan rail. Its questions are skill-tagged, so your results feed your per-skill recall scores and your Daily Practice review queue — a shaky answer today becomes a well-timed review tomorrow. Passing takes 60% or better, and a week you don't pass can be retaken with a fresh set of questions. Completing the quiz earns XP either way.
Streaks, XP, and achievements
- Streak — consecutive active days. A lesson, a Booster, or the 2-minute Daily Practice all count, with milestones at 7, 14, 30, 60, and 100 days.
- XP and levels — every lesson item, Booster, and Daily Practice earns XP; levels mark the long arc of effort.
- Achievements — a whole wall of them, marking milestones as you learn.
These measure showing up. The GapFix Score and recall scores measure what the showing up produced. You want both moving.
The Weekly Recap
Each week, your Weekly Recap rolls up what you did — and a monthly recap zooms out further. Paired with the weekly check-in, it's the moment to notice trends: which skills are climbing, and where attention should go next.
Progress on your home screen
Add the Streak and Progress widgets to your home screen — or the lock-screen widgets — and your progress stays visible between sessions. Tapping through drops you straight into the Daily Practice.
