GapFix features 22 unique achievements across 5 categories. Achievements recognize specific milestones and accomplishments as you develop your skills. Unlocking achievements grants bonus XP and adds badges to your profile.
The 22 Achievements
Achievements are organized in 5 categories. Each achievement has specific unlock requirements.
#### Category 1: Consistency & Habits (5 achievements)
Week Warrior
- Unlock: Complete learning activities 7 days in a row
- Badge: A shield with a flame
- Bonus XP: 100
- Rewardable: Multiple times (monthly, quarterly, yearly variants)
Streak Master
- Unlock: Maintain a 30-day streak
- Badge: A lightning bolt
- Bonus XP: 250
- Rewardable: Different tiers (30, 60, 100-day versions)
Consistency Champion
- Unlock: Reach GapFixScore of 75+
- Badge: A star
- Bonus XP: 200
- Rewardable: Once per unique GapFixScore milestone
Night Owl / Early Bird
- Unlock: Complete 50 learning activities primarily between 9 PM-6 AM (Night Owl) or 5-8 AM (Early Bird)
- Badge: Moon or Sun icon
- Bonus XP: 75
- Notes: Encourages awareness of your learning rhythm; not about moral judgment of when you learn
Comeback Kid
- Unlock: Break a 20+ day streak, then build a new 14-day streak within 30 days
- Badge: An arrow pointing upward
- Bonus XP: 150
- Notes: Celebrates resilience and habit recovery
#### Category 2: Learning Depth (5 achievements)
Booster Enthusiast
- Unlock: Complete 25 Boosters
- Badge: A rocket
- Bonus XP: 150
- Rewardable: Tiers at 25, 50, 100, 250 Boosters
Plan Completer
- Unlock: Finish your entire 90-day personalized learning plan
- Badge: A diploma or certificate
- Bonus XP: 500
- Notes: Significant achievement; many users restart their plan after completion
Type Master (4 sub-achievements)
- Unlock: Complete 10 Boosters of each type (Tips, Frameworks, Templates, Case Studies)
- Badge: Different icons for each type
- Bonus XP: 100 per type
- Notes: Encourages varied learning across all Booster types
Difficulty Climber
- Unlock: Complete Boosters across all three difficulty levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
- Badge: A mountain peak
- Bonus XP: 150
- Notes: Rewardable—reaching higher difficulty levels triggers new variants
#### Category 3: Community & Social (4 achievements)
Friend Referrer
- Unlock: Refer 3 friends to GapFix who sign up
- Badge: Two connected people
- Bonus XP: 200
- Rewardable: Tiers at 3, 5, 10, 25 referrals
Leaderboard Leader
- Unlock: Reach top 10 on any leaderboard (friends, weekly, global in your tier)
- Badge: A crown
- Bonus XP: 300
- Notes: Rewardable—appears multiple times if you're consistently in top 10
Collection Creator
- Unlock: Create 3 custom collections and complete all Boosters in at least one collection
- Badge: A folder or portfolio icon
- Bonus XP: 100
- Notes: Encourages organization and intentional learning path building
Sharing Enthusiast
- Unlock: Share 5 collections, achievements, or streaks with friends/team
- Badge: A share arrow
- Bonus XP: 75
- Notes: Encourages social accountability and learning community
#### Category 4: Exploration & Growth (3 achievements)
Category Completionist
- Unlock: Complete at least one Booster from 8+ different Booster categories
- Badge: A compass
- Bonus XP: 200
- Notes: Celebrates breadth of learning across diverse topics
Offline Champion
- Unlock: Download 10+ Boosters and complete 5+ of them without internet
- Badge: A download icon
- Bonus XP: 100
- Notes: Recognizes intentional offline learning planning
Quiz Perfectionist
- Unlock: Score 90%+ on 5 different quizzes
- Badge: A checkmark or target
- Bonus XP: 150
- Notes: Encourages active learning and knowledge testing
#### Category 5: Mastery & Milestones (3 achievements)
Level 25 Scholar
- Unlock: Reach Level 25
- Badge: A book or academic cap
- Bonus XP: 500 (granted upon reaching level)
- Notes: Significant progression milestone
Mastery Achieved
- Unlock: Reach Level 50
- Badge: A trophy or crown with stars
- Bonus XP: 1,000 (granted upon reaching level)
- Notes: The ultimate achievement; profiles display special Mastery badge
Lifetime Legend (Future)
- Unlock: Reach 100,000+ cumulative XP
- Badge: A golden crown with infinite symbol
- Bonus XP: Special recognition (XP continues to accumulate)
- Notes: Reserve achievement for dedicated, long-term learners
Viewing Your Achievements
Achievements page:
- Go to your Profile
- Tap "Achievements" or the badge icon
- See all 22 achievements in a grid layout
- Locked achievements show unlock requirements
- Unlocked achievements show the unlock date
Filter achievements:
- By category (Consistency, Learning, Community, etc.)
- By locked/unlocked status
- By bonus XP amount
Achievement details:
- Tap any achievement to see full description
- See how many people have unlocked it (adds competition element)
- See the bonus XP granted
- For rewardable achievements, see which tiers you've unlocked
Your achievement count:
- Displayed on your profile as "X/22 Achievements"
- Shows your progress toward 100% achievement unlock
- Visual progress bar toward "mastery" (unlocking all 22)
Badge Display and Sharing
On your profile:
- Your unlocked achievement badges appear in a grid
- Visitors to your profile can see which achievements you've unlocked
- Your collection of badges tells a story of your learning journey
In notifications:
- When you unlock an achievement, you receive a celebratory notification
- Notifications can be customized in Settings
Sharing achievements:
- You can share individual achievements with friends/team
- Share your full achievement set to showcase progress
- Many users screenshot new achievements to celebrate milestones
Strategy: Pursuing Specific Achievements
Some users create intentional learning plans around achievements:
To unlock "Type Master":
- Set a goal to complete 10 of each Booster type
- Create a collection called "Type Master Challenge"
- Add 10 Tips, 10 Frameworks, 10 Templates, 10 Case Studies
- Work through systematically over 4-8 weeks
To unlock "Category Completionist":
- Browse all Booster categories
- Select one Booster from each category that interests you
- Create a "Category Explorer" collection
- Complete them in order
To unlock "Leaderboard Leader":
- Focus on consistent streak building (impacts GapFixScore)
- Increase daily Booster engagement
- Complete plan lessons every day
- Watch your leaderboard position improve weekly
Pro Tips for Achievement Hunting
Don't hunt at the expense of learning: Some users pursue achievements so intensely that learning quality suffers. Balance achievement chasing with genuine skill development.
Celebrate unlocks: When you unlock an achievement, take a moment to recognize it. These micro-wins build momentum.
Share unlock moments: Tell colleagues or friends when you unlock meaningful achievements. This reinforces identity as a learner.
Don't stress about 100%: Unlocking all 22 is possible but takes significant time and engagement. Some achievements (like certain referral tiers) require time or luck. Enjoy the journey without obsessing over completion.
Seasonal focus: Some users focus on different achievement categories each month. January: consistency, February: depth, March: community, etc.
Troubleshooting Achievements
I completed the requirement but didn't unlock:
- Requirements might have additional criteria you're not seeing
- Give the app a moment to sync (close and reopen)
- Go to Settings > Account > Sync
- If still not unlocked, check the achievement details again carefully
My achievement disappeared:
- Achievements don't disappear once unlocked
- You might be looking at a different filtered view
- Go to Achievements > All to see your complete set
I want to retract a referral or shared achievement:
- Achievements cannot be "unshared" or retracted
- They remain in your profile history
- Focus on unlocking new achievements rather than managing old ones
Leaderboard achievement seems incorrect:
- Leaderboard positions update weekly
- You might have been in top 10 last week but dropped this week
- Check if you're still top 10 in any active leaderboards
Can I unlock the same achievement twice?
- Some achievements are rewardable (marked with "Rewardable: Yes")
- Others can only be unlocked once
- Check the achievement details to see if it's repeatable
