The 7-Day Trial

Updated August 8, 2026

The GapFix trial is deliberately boring in the best way: it starts by itself, costs nothing, asks for nothing, and ends quietly. Here's how it works.

How it starts

The moment you finish onboarding, your 7-day full-access trial starts automatically. There's nothing to activate and nothing to enter:

  • No credit card — we never ask for payment details to start
  • No account required — GapFix starts anonymously; you only need an account if you later subscribe (or want to sync devices)
  • No decision pressure — you're just using the full app

What "full access" means

For 7 days you get everything GapFix Pro offers:

  • Unlimited lesson days on your 12-week plan — learn all 7 days a week
  • Unlimited Boosters
  • Plus everything that's always free: the 2-minute Daily Practice, streaks and shields, XP, achievements, your gap analysis and dashboard

How it ends: no auto-charge, ever

This is the part that surprises people: the trial is a timer, not a store subscription. Since no payment method is attached, there is nothing to auto-charge. On day 7 it simply ends, and you continue on the free tier:

  • 1 lesson-day per plan week (your plan is preserved — days shift forward, nothing is lost)
  • 1 Booster a day
  • Unlimited Daily Practice
  • All your streaks, XP, achievements, and progress intact

If you want to keep Pro

Subscribe any time — during the trial or long after. Two things to know:

You'll need an account. Sign in with Apple, Google, LinkedIn, or email — this is the only point where GapFix requires one.

Purchases charge immediately. Buying a subscription is a real App Store purchase, billed by Apple at the moment you confirm. The trial doesn't delay or discount that first charge.
