Deleting Your Account

If GapFix isn't for you, deleting your account is straightforward and built into the app. Here's what to know before you do it — including two things people often wish they'd done first.

Deletion is permanent

Deleting your account removes your data from our systems: your plan, progress, streaks, XP, achievements, recall history, and saved Boosters. There's no undo and nothing to restore later. If you return someday, you'll start fresh with a new scan.

First: grab an export

If there's any chance you'll want a record of what you learned and how far you got, export your data before deleting — once the account is gone, so is the data. See "Exporting Your Data" for how.

Second: handle your subscription

This part matters. Deleting your GapFix account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. If you're subscribed to GapFix Pro:

Do this before deleting your account, or Apple may keep billing a subscription attached to an account that no longer exists. For refund requests, go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple handles all payments and refunds, and we never see your card details.
